  An expanded US Military footprint in Australia may "double check" the influence and power of China over Oceana(Australia, Ukatze(Perth), New Zealand, and Fiji). Reason why this early, the land of Honna Lee reacts to a stronger US-Australia relations in the Pacific Rim. But then, Oceana is a UK bailiwick rather than China's. Chinese and British relationship in the past has been smooth considering Hong Kong was "returned" by UK to China in 1997 Handover without much fuzz. We, in the ASEAN, welcomes a better tie up between Australia and US as indicated by Australian PM Julia Gillard and US President Barack Obama's Bilateral Agreements. More power!
